WIN A CHANCE TO TAKE A PENALTY KICK AGAINST A BREAKERS GOALKEEPER

 On May 2 – After the BOSTON BREAKERS v. LOS ANGELES SOL Match

 

In conjunction with the very special “NGS Night at the Breakers” on Saturday, May 2, kickoff at 7 p.m., three lucky NGS players will have the chance to take a Penalty Kick against a Breakers goalkeeper, and to keep the official  Puma ball she uses for the kick! 

All three penalty kicks will be taken by the three raffle winners immediately after the May 2 Breakers game.  So of course, raffle ticket purchasers will want to be sure to buy tickets for “NGS Night at the Breakers.”  To purchase game tickets, go to www.breakersgroups.com and use the password NGS to buy tickets, also available at that site are discounted Breakers t-shirts and mini-balls.

All NGS coaches are asked to sell, or designate someone on their team to sell, 

RAFFLE TICKETS

$5 for one ticket

$10 for three tickets

 

NGS  Intramural, Travel, and High School coaches will each sell raffle tickets.  One winner will be drawn from each of the three pools of tickets—intramural, travel, and high school.  If you need more tickets, please email your grade coordinator or bethmaloney@comcast.net.

Please have purchasers NEATLY complete the raffle ticket stub, gather all completed stubs and cash collected in an envelope with your name and indicate whether you coach IM, travel, or high school coach and deliver the envelope to Beth Maloney at 245 Otis Street, Newton (the mail slot in the front door)        NO LATER THAN MONDAY, APRIL 27 so that players can be notified that they have won, and be prepared to take their kicks after the game on May 2.

 

Thank you for your help in making this fundraiser a success—NGS is a not-for-profit organization with many financial needs ranging from scholarships, to player and coach training, to field maintenance obligations.  We appreciate your efforts.

 Final note—we ask that NGS players, present or past, take the penalty kicks.  While many of us would like to taste a bit of glory, this one is for the kids!
