Newton Girls Soccer Skill Development Program for grade 1
To: All Grade 1 Players,
Registration is now open for the NGS Grade 1 Skills Development
Program
In order to provide top professional soccer training within Newton
Girls Soccer, we offer a Skills Development program (SD). This program
provides training once/week for players, and for the first time it is being
offered for players in Grade 1. The program has been a huge hit with players in
Grade 2 & 3 over the last few seasons. The goal of the SD program is skill
development for players interested in further developing their soccer skills
beyond the regular training schedule with their regular NGS team. It is open only to
NGS players that are registered to play in the NGS Grade 1 Saturday program this
spring (or were registered for fall 2009).
It is widely believed that teaching soccer skills and
fundamentals like passing, shooting/lace-kicks, etc. is much easier with younger
players. If your daughter loves soccer, and wants to improve her skills, this
program is ideal for her.
